Subject order: Mathematics → Physics → Chemistry

~18 questions per subject (approx., both papers)

  • Subject order flips to Math → Physics → Chemistry (continues through 2026).
  • Heavy NUM sections; matching lists in Paper 1.
  • Some blank PDF pages → incomplete extracts for a few Q numbers.
Narrative

Year review

2022 is the pattern pivot year: Mathematics opens the paper. If you still habitually start with Physics, retrain your opening 20 minutes on Math SC/NUM. Algebra and Calculus share the Math load; Conics stay relevant. Physics Mechanics cools slightly from the 2020–21 peak but remains #1; Optics becomes more visible. Chemistry Organic keeps rising (~27%) — reaction sequences and practical/analysis numericals matter. Data caveat: a handful of questions are missing from extracts due to blank PDF pages (see topic_analysis notes). Counts are slightly incomplete, not ‘easy paper’ signals. Use 2022 to rehearse Math-first timing and matching-list discipline in Paper 1.
