  • Mixed section pattern continues; Math first.

  • Organic stays ~29%; multi-concept stems increase.

Year review

2024 feels like a balanced modern Advanced paper: Math opens, sections mix SC/MC/NUM, and stems more often join two ideas (ellipse + condition, wave + optics, thermo + electrochem). Mathematics keeps Algebra + Calculus as the core, with Trigonometry unusually visible (7/34). Coordinate Geometry recovers somewhat — ellipse SC items return. Physics Mechanics share cools further, while Waves/SHM and Magnetism/EMI/AC become must-revise. Chemistry stays Physical-led but Organic is firmly a third of Chem. Practical/analysis and coordination numericals are not ‘bonus’ topics anymore. Prep implication: build weekly mix drills (two topics in one sitting) rather than siloed chapter tests only.
